Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Jobwise, you agree to these Terms. If you use Jobwise on behalf of a business, you represent that you’re authorized to bind it.

2. The service

Jobwise is software for managing a home-services business — customers, leads, quotes, jobs, invoices, payments, scheduling, and reporting — available as a mobile app and a web app sharing one account.

3. Accounts & crew

You’re responsible for your login credentials and for activity under your account. Business owners may invite crew via invite codes; owners are responsible for their crew’s use and for the data they enter.

4. Your data & customer data

• You own the business and customer data you put into Jobwise. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and display it to you and to operate the service.
• You are responsible for having the legal right to store and use your customers’ information, and for using Jobwise lawfully (including invoicing, tax, and privacy obligations to your own customers).
• We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Subscriptions & billing

• Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring monthly or annual basis. Prices are shown at checkout. New subscriptions include a 14-day free trial.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Fees already paid for the current period are non-refundable.
• Purchases made through the web are governed by these Terms and Stripe; the app itself is free to download.
• We may change prices with 30 days’ notice for the next billing period.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse Jobwise: no illegal activity, no attempting to breach security or access other businesses’ data, no reverse-engineering, no reselling the service, no uploading unlawful content.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

8. Termination

You may stop using Jobwise and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for non-payment.

9. Disclaimers

Jobwise is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. It is a tool to help you run your business; you are responsible for your business decisions, invoices, tax, and legal compliance.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data/profits.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law rules.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after the effective date means you accept them.
