Privacy Policy

1. Who this covers

Jobwise is business software for home-services companies. Two kinds of people's data flow through it:

• Account holders — the business owner and their crew who sign in and use the app.
• Their customers — people the business creates records about (name, contact, address, jobs, quotes, invoices, photos). The business is the controller of that data; Jobwise processes it on their behalf.

2. What we collect

• Account data: name, email, and (for crew) an invite-code-based membership. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth and, if you choose, Sign in with Google or Apple (we receive your name/email from them, not your password).
• Business data you enter: business profile, customers, leads, quotes, jobs, invoices, payments, expenses, notes, and photos you upload.
• Payment data: when you subscribe, billing is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; Stripe does. We store subscription status.
• Technical data: basic logs, device/browser type, and IP address for security and reliability.
• Diagnostics: when something goes wrong in the app we record the error message, a stack trace, and which screen you were on, so we can fix it. This is stored in our own database and is not sent to an analytics provider.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. How we use it

To provide the service (store and display your records, schedule jobs, generate quotes/invoices, process payments), to secure accounts, to provide support, and to comply with law. Row-Level Security scopes every account’s data to its own business.

4. Who we share it with (subprocessors)

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (supabase.com/privacy).
• Stripe — payment and subscription processing (stripe.com/privacy).
• Vercel — web app hosting (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy).
• Google / Apple — only if you use their sign-in.
• Komoot (Photon) — address autocomplete. When you type a customer address, the partial text is sent to photon.komoot.io to return matching addresses (photon.komoot.io).
• Expo — push notification delivery. We send a device push token so job and reminder notifications can reach your phone (expo.dev/privacy).
• Cloudflare — serving the public quote and invoice pages you share with your customers (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy).

We share data with these providers only as needed to run the service. We may disclose data if required by law.

5. Photos and customer data

Photos and customer records you upload are stored in Supabase Storage. Business account holders are responsible for having the right to store their customers’ information and for using it lawfully.

6. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and its data from within the app; on deletion we remove or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain records for legal/accounting reasons (e.g., invoices/payments).

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Contact vivekkoul18@gmail.com to exercise them.

8. Security

We rely on Supabase’s managed infrastructure, encryption in transit, and Row-Level Security to isolate each business’s data. No system is perfectly secure; we work to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

Jobwise is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; we’ll post the new effective date and, for material changes, notify account holders.
